This is a typical breakfast my kids enjoy it. And I love the fact it is quick and simple to do and serve it with fresh fruits and berries. For my pre-schooler, I even cut them into shapes as she finds it more attractive. This happens to be our best family meal on the weekends.

Instructions to make BLW French Toast Sticks

  • In a bowl, beat 2 eggs.
  • Add milk and vanilla extract and whisk well using a fork or a whisker.
  • Meanwhile, cut bread into shapes.
  • Heat a pan and add generous amount of butter to melt.
  • Dip in each pieces of bread in the egg mixture and toast them on the pan.
  • Alternately you can even choose to air fry the toast in air fryer and add butter while serving it to baby.
  • Serve the french toast sticks to baby with banana and other fruits they like.
  • I have caramelized banana in this recipe using butter and maple syrup in this recipe.

  • You can freeze the french toast in an airtight bag and use a toaster to toast them.
  • Cut them into strips by cutting the edges. For babies who are learning to use fork, you can cut into small squares.I prefer cutting into shapes for my picky eating preschooler.
