A Healthy Banana Oatmeal or porridge makes the best breakfast for babies with its smooth creamy texture and naturally sweetened with a banana. The best part is it takes hardly 5 minutes to make this healthy & delicious meal. Honestly, this is my go-to recipe when my picky eater rejects everything. Both my kids survived on oatmeal with different fruits in them for breakfast.

  • Water – You can choose to add milk if you are making for toddlers above 12 months+. I have used half cup of water to make this banana oats.
  • Butter – One tbsp of butter adds fat to the recipe making it tasty. You can replace butter with peanut butter if there are no allergies.

Here are simple steps to make this healthy banana oatmeal:

  • Mash half a banana until it is mushy.
  • Use a tbsp of butter to roast the mashed banana for a few seconds.
  • Add half a cup of water to the banana and let it come to a boil.
  • Add 2-3 tbsps of oats (roasted & powdered) and mix well.
  • Cook the oats for 2-3 minutes until its cooked well.
  • Cooldown and feed it warm to babies.
